"Discomfort is the price of admission to a meaningful life."
-Susan David
Hello! After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, I have accumulated over seven years of experience in the field. A portion of this time was spent working with children with cognitive and developmental disorders and their families, and a portion was in private practice, providing clinical counselling support to children, individuals, and families. Through my time working under psychologists, speech-pathologists, and occupational therapists, I developed an affinity for a well-rounded and multi-disciplinary approach.
As a psychological practitioner, I aim to help couples and families work on their connection and empower individuals to reconnect with themselves. Through neuro-informed psychology and counselling, I am passionate about exploring how our past experiences shape how we see the world, and about using evidence-based interventions and reflection to create change, resilience, and self-connection. I acknowledge the level of vulnerability it takes to trust a therapist with the most personal parts of yourself, and I want you to know that I recognize and deeply appreciate this.
Beginning therapy is a commitment you are making to yourself, and I see it as my role to ensure this time and space are truly your own. My way of honouring that trust is by giving you full permission to shape the experience to fit you. I work collaboratively with my clients so that their therapeutic journey feels authentic and flexible - an experience we co-create together. Rapport and connection are everything to me, and building that foundation is always at the heart of my work.Whether we focus on trauma, achievement, connection, or other challenging areas in your life, I feel humbled to get to know you and all of the parts of you that make you - you!

A few things about me:
When I’m not in session, I love all things fitness (I need somewhere to channel all my excess energy!) - whether that’s spin, lifting weights, hiking, yoga, or pilates.
I also enjoy community-building and spending time with my family and friends, whether that means coffee walks, or trying new restaurants.
I grew up in the restaurant industry, which has made me a lifelong foodie.
I’m also a reality TV connoisseur - always happy to chat about or unpack the latest series.
